An attempted armed robbery at a family-owned gas station in Orland Park, Illinois, was abruptly foiled on Tuesday morning when a masked assailant targeted an armed customer. The Orland Park Police Department confirmed that the customer—a licensed Illinois Concealed-Carry License (CCL) holder—drew his defensive firearm from his waistband and fired at least two rounds, wounding the suspect and forcing him to drop his weapon before fleeing.
