Auto Ordnance Offers Shorty M1 Carbine Factory SBR

The light and handy M1 Carbine just became even more so. Auto Ordnance is now selling a factory SBR version of the famous WW2 rifle. Keep reading for all the details.

The M1 Carbine needs little introduction. These rifles were one of the first truly popular lightweight, intermediate caliber options in the US market. They were so popular that demand outstripped military surplus availability and several manufacturers started making commercial clones.

Auto Ordnance continues this trend today, offering a range of new production M1 Carbine variants. The newest SBR version has a 12-inch barrel threaded 1/2x28. Another feature not visible at first glance is the inclusion of MLOK slots on the underside of the handguard. The standard M1 Carbine SBR includes a 15-round magazine, but a version with a 10-round magazine is available for sale to people in restricted jurisdiction. The MSRP for either version is $1,870.
