The FLOW 556K was built around a problem anyone who has spent time behind a suppressed AR understands: backpressure. A traditional suppressor can make a dependable rifle run dirtier, cycle harder, and dump enough gas through the charging-handle area to make sustained strings downright unpleasant. You can tune around some of that with buffers, springs, adjustable gas blocks, and specialized bolt carriers, but not everybody wants to rebuild a rifle just to run a can.
HUXWRX took a different route. Its Flow-Through design sends expanding gas forward through the suppressor instead of trapping as much of it and forcing it back through the action.
