KUIU Introduces Veros – Built for Hardwoods and Late-Season Timber

KUIU, a leader in high-performance hunting gear and apparel, is back with the newest addition to its camo lineup, Veros. The fourth pattern for KUIU to date, this is a camo pattern specifically designed for darker hardwoods and late-season timber. Veros has been engineered to give hunters the pattern they need for tonally dark, deciduous cover where other lighter pattern options often come up short. It disappears into tree bark, thick brush, vegetation, shadows, and saturated fall environments, using vegetation-appropriate colors for a natural, non-photorealistic pattern that works in a variety of ranges. From up close for bow hunting or out on yonder for rifle hunting, Veros is well-suited for hunting whitetail from the climber, ducks while brushed in the flooded timber, or turkeys in the deep hardwoods. 

The pattern uses a four-color palette of Arctic Shadow base, Major Brown, Ash dark brown, and Asphalt dark grey. This gives it a deeper overall brown-and-grey tone that holds up in the shadowed, deciduous cover typical of late season in the woods. Using macro elements with micro details in the pattern, it breaks up the wearer’s signature so that Veros stays effective for up-close encounters or out in the distance while glassing.
