NEBO 1K EDC Pocket Light Doubles as a Hands-Free Cap Light
Anyone who has tried to finish field dressing a deer at last light while clenching a flashlight in their teeth understands the problem NEBO is chasing here. Read that list carefully, because the headline numbers come from opposite ends of it. Turbo runs ten seconds before the light steps down to protect the emitter and the cell, and you can reactivate it whenever you want. The ten-hour figure belongs to the 10-lumen low setting. High at 400 lumens for an hour is the realistic working number for most tasks.
Smart Power Control manages the transitions between modes to stretch the battery. Direct-to-low lets you go straight to 10 lumens from off without wrecking your night vision, which matters more than it sounds during a predawn walk in. The lockout mode is the feature that earns its keep for pocket carry, since nobody wants to reach for a light and find it dead because it fired inside a coat all afternoon.
