Canik displayed ten new optics at SHOT Show 2026, expanding from pistol red dots into rifle scopes and rifle-mounted optics. The lineup includes low-power variables, a 4-40x precision scope called the KNIGHT, and enclosed-emitter rifle red dots including the Obsidian LITE.

The Canik booth had a TON of products on display. Canik showed 1-10x SFP illuminated scopes for general use, 3-9x hunting scopes, and the KNIGHT, a 4-40x FFP scope with an MRAD illuminated reticle. For rifle red dots, the Obsidian LITE uses a boxy enclosed design while another model uses more traditional tube construction.

Canik New Optics (Partial List):

  • 1-10x SFP illuminated LPVO
  • 3-9x rifle scope
  • KNIGHT: 4-40x FFP MRAD illuminated scope
  • Obsidian LITE: Boxy enclosed rifle red dot
  • Tube-style enclosed rifle red dot
  • Additional models (full details unavailable)
  • Total: 10 new optics announced
  • Pricing: Not announced

Canik already makes MECANIK pistol red dots that sell for $175-350, so rifle optics is a decent proposition especially if someone has already worked with one of the pistol red dots and like it.

The KNIGHT's 4-40x magnification range puts it in precision rifle territory. FFP scopes with MRAD reticles and illumination typically run $800-2000 depending on brand and glass quality. No pricing was announced for any of the new optics.

The Obsidian LITE competes in the rifle red dot category where others already have established products. Same story for the tube-style red dot, it's entering a crowded market.

Full specifications weren't available for most models on display. The sheer number of new optics made it difficult to get detailed information on each one. Expect more details as products ship to dealers.
