Hush Puppy Project announced Ruger RXM and Sig P365 kits at SHOT Show 2026, expanding beyond their established Glock lineup. The company builds pistols with an integrated Slide Lock Device (SLD) that prevents the slide from cycling, eliminating action noise for maximum suppression when paired with their Model 2 wipe-filled suppressor and subsonic ammunition.
The SLD functions as a button on the slide that locks the action closed. When engaged, the pistol fires in locked-breech mode instead of semi-automatic operation. This prevents the slide from moving rearward, which eliminates all mechanical noise from the action cycling. Combined with the compact Model 2 suppressor and subsonic 9mm loads, Hush Puppy setups achieve sound levels that make them genuinely close to movie quiet.

The new RXM and P365 kits mirror what Hush Puppy has offered for years on Glock platforms. Each kit ships ready to run with both the factory barrel and a threaded barrel already installed on the pistol. Buyers get a Vortex CCW enclosed optic mounted on the gun, along with a box of 124gr subsonic 9mm ammunition to start shooting immediately.

Pricing wasn't available at the show. For reference, Hush Puppy's Glock 19 and G45 pistols sell for $1,088, while their Glock 45 ACRO kit with suppressor runs $2,249. The Model 2 suppressor alone costs $799 when purchased separately. That gives some ballpark pricing guidance for what these new kits might run.
The kits are currently shipping to dealers rather than being sold direct. Availability should ramp up as Hush Puppy brings the RXM and P365 models into full production alongside their existing Glock offerings. The expansion makes sense. The P365 represents one of the most popular concealed carry pistols, and the RXM is the new up an coming Glock alternative. Shooters who want maximum sound suppression now have more platform options.
Hush Puppy Project's entire concept revolves around eliminating every possible source of noise.
