RISE Triggers rolled out something different at SHOT Show 2026 with the Rev 535 trigger, and the standout feature is how it installs. The company built a new Slide-and-Snap system that eliminates the usual trigger pin hassle and gets the whole thing locked in place in under 60 seconds on mil-spec lowers. No hammer punches, no loose pins to chase across the workbench, and often no need to even pull the grip or safety selector.

At the booth, they even set up a time competition to see who could do it the fastest. At the time I tried it, the leader was at eight seconds. After three tries, I left with a score of 12. I was told the eight-second guy tried a bunch and as much as I wanted to sit there and top it, I had a job to d,o and my focus on new product reporting was more important. Fun and a great idea, nonetheless.

The Rev 535 uses built-in pins that slide into the receiver and lock tight with anti-walk, anti-rotation security. RISE designed this to cut out the friction points that make trigger swaps annoying for a lot of shooters. No separate pin sets, no screws, no threadlocker required. It's a self-contained cassette-style system that clicks into place and stays there.

Beyond the installation angle, RISE also added tool-free trigger blade customization. The Rev 535 ships with both flat and curved blade faces, and you can swap between them in seconds using what they call TorLok technology. It's a combination of mechanical engagement and magnetic retention, so the blade face snaps on securely without needing tools or fasteners. If you're the type who likes to tweak the feel of your trigger, this is a faster way to do it than swapping entire trigger assemblies.

The trigger itself is built on RISE's proven RA-535 single-stage platform with a crisp pull, no take-up, and a fast reset. Internal components are S7 tool steel with Nickel Boron coating for durability and smooth operation. At $279.99, it sits in the middle of the aftermarket trigger market but adds the convenience factor with the snap-in installation and tool-free customization.

RISE is betting that making trigger swaps less of a project will appeal to shooters who've been putting off upgrades or who want to experiment with different trigger feels without committing to a full swap each time. The real test will be how well the Slide-and-Snap system holds up under recoil and whether the TorLok blade attachment stays secure over time, but RISE backs it with a lifetime warranty.
