SIG Sauer and Agency Arms have teamed up on the P226-X AGENCY, a purpose-built evolution of the P226 under the tagline "Two Icons. One Legendary Platform." The pistol combines SIG Sauer performance with Agency Arms design, and every element is aimed at control, speed and shootability.
Two Icons, One Platform: The SIG Sauer P226-X AGENCY
The slide is the headline feature. It is a single-port integrally compensated design with Agency Arms 5AXIS serrations, finished in Bronze Cerakote over stainless steel. Paired with a 3.8-inch bull barrel with a target crown, the compensated slide helps reduce muzzle movement and keeps the pistol flatter through rapid strings of fire. A fully enclosed ROMEO-X SIG-LOC PRO reflex sight comes factory-installed, giving direct-mount optic integration with the durability expected of a modern P226. XRAY3 Day/Night sights are included for backup.
The fire control side is single-action only. The AX3 fully adjustable single-action trigger gives a crisp, customizable press. The frame is an Agency Arms enhanced alloy design finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote, with scale front-strap checkering and custom alloy LOK grip panels in matching scale texture for positive contact and confident control. An extended takedown lever rounds out the package.
The P226-X AGENCY is equipped with a manual safety. Buyers should consider whether a manual safety suits their experience level and intended use, and keep in mind that a trigger can be pressed unintentionally even under normal handling. The safety augments safe handling and does not replace it. The shooter is responsible for guarding against unintentional trigger movement when carrying any firearm, particularly with a round in the chamber.
Two models are listed. The 226X-9-AGENCY-RXSL ships with three 20-round steel magazines, and the 226X-9-AGENCY-RXSL-10 ships with three 10-round steel magazines. Both are full-size 9mm pistols covered by the SIG Sauer Infinite Guarantee, and both are listed as “Coming Soon” with no price listed yet.
