ZEISS Conquest Apia Adds 85mm and Straight Spotting Scopes
ZEISS Outdoor has expanded its Conquest Apia spotting scope line with a larger 85mm objective and straight-eyepiece configurations.
What’s new
The Conquest Apia 85 steps up to a 24-60x magnification range and an 85mm objective lens. It comes in both angled (85A) and straight (85S) configurations.
The straight-eyepiece build now extends across the line with the Conquest Apia 65S, delivering 20-50x magnification. It joins the previously released Conquest Apia 65A in an angled configuration.
Shared features
Every Conquest Apia model carries ZEISS T* coating for up to 87% light transmission and FieldFlattener technology that keeps the image sharp from edge to edge. The lightweight, compact design is balanced for both tripod and handheld use, and LotuTec coating keeps the view clear in rain, fog, and wet conditions. Large focus and zoom wheels are built to operate with bare or gloved hands.

The pitch
“Hunters have to go where the game is, and getting there often requires cutting the weight and size of packs,” said Kyle Brown, who heads marketing and product for the VALYRA-run ZEISS Outdoor Products group. “The mobility of the ZEISS Conquest Apia line won’t hold hunters back.”
