Already a popular swimbait option and mainstay in angler tackleboxes, the Berkley PowerBait CullShad has evolved this year with a new size and colors. Originally released in 2023, the PowerBait CullShad is a large-profile swimbait that is made from the proven PowerBait soft plastic, releasing scent as it swims and taste when bit. Originally available in two larger sizes and 12 colors, Berkley has added a new 5-inch profile bait and 5 five new color options. Letting anglers have more options to tune their presentation to better match the conditions.
This smaller, more compact profile is for fishing pressured water, smaller forage species lakes, and seasonal advantages, while still offering a ton of swim action and performance ability as the original two sizes. Still utilizing the Honey Comb Technology in the tail portion, these swimbaits have better durability without sacrificing on swimming action. So when fished slowly, the PowerBait CullShad still has a lifelike tail kick, and when burned back in the bait still has stable tracking.
